Did some further charging of the battery. Charger was showing 2 amps, so hopeful that there is life in the battery. Jacked up rear and removed the o/s rear wheel. Tapped all around the drum, removed screw but the drum face would not come off. Sprayed with WD40. This wheel now seems to rotate freely. Sprayed the UJ on the propshaft. Put wheel back on – car now moves more freely. Hopefully same treatment on other side will make car more manoeuvrable. Removed the screen wash ‘bag’ from its hooks and attempted to clean it. Identified a leak, so this will need to be replaced. Pretty grotty actually. Kept the original. Researched Heritage Certificate – available for £42 from British Heritage Museum
