Discussed the respray with Alex. He gave a few pointers and suggested preparing a schedule. I emailed him a scope of works so hopefully he will add some useful comments. Rob and I researched paint types on the internet during lunch time. Recommended type is 2 -pack. You mix the paint with a hardener which then activates the paint and it gives a high gloss durable finish. Unfortunately, it contains arsenic so can only be done professionally with breathing equipment. Cellulose is the traditional paint, but doesn’t really have any advantage except originality and you can DIY (but I don’t have the equipment or skills).
