Thanks to Helen my darling wife who supports this hobby and is endlessly patient and loving. Thanks ‘H’, love you x
Same to the kids – Ellie and Lou, thanks girls, I look forward to the day when we can all drive the MG!
Thanks to my Dad – its all your fault even though you didn’t want me to buy the MG! You sparked my interest in cars, and you encouraged me as a youngster to understand how to maintain and repair them, if not to make a living from them. Its taken me a while, but I am now in a position where a project such as this is possible, and from my perspective, therapeutic. Its a great place to escape stresses and a way to tune up my problem solving skills with an end result to hopefully enjoy. I appreciate all the advice and I love it when you remember stuff like spark plug gaps from over 40 years ago.
Tris – Big bro, guider, encourager, wise counsel, friend. You’ve always got my back and I look forward to the day I can pick you up outside your house in the MG!
Sarah – I loved being driven by you in the Cappuccino, so what will it be like to be driven by you in the MG! (I know its not a Porsche…). Love you Sis
Rob, Richard and Alex – you know who you are. Thanks to you for my decision to buy the Cappuccino, Discovery and the MG. Its your lust for life and the faith you show in me that’s given me the confidence to take braver choices – keep calm and quack on!
Thanks to John for coming over for the first start up. Your electrical knowledge will be needed when I get to the rebuild methinks, so stand by.
Thanks to ‘other’ John for loaning the stilson, the socket set and for your help so far. I will be calling on you buddy as we get further in!
Thanks to Mark, the professional expert. You make it look too easy mate! I’ll be needing you again. And again.
Paul – when I bought your Suzuki Cappuccino, that opened me up to the possibility of doing a car up, and ultimately to this project. You need to get on with your own project, that neglected sports car in the garden! Thanks for your friendship.
Phil – we did some miles in your MGs a few years ago, including that memorable jaunt up to Scotland. Freezing cold weather and the roof down, what an experience. I’m looking forward to sharing some miles together when the GT is up and ready, I owe you!
Thanks to our Lord and Father – bless this project and all involved, in Jesus name, Amen.
